A Stroke or Neurological Impairment doesn’t mean your life has to stop. We off a free individual assessment, looking at everything from your blood pressure to your balance. Our Occupational Therapist’s can look at ways of compensating for limitations, maybe by prescribing equipment or changing the environment or by developing a Home Exercise Program that your Care Partners can support you to undertake. 

Taper your care

At Sunday Care Therapy our main aim is to promote your independence. If you have experienced a Stroke and are recovering well our Occupational Therapist will frequently review to ensure that your care package reduces as your skills improve and goals are met. Also if you feel like you need an extra boost we can look at short term increases when you feel you need it. This is your care, and your personal plan and it is individual to you.

At Sunday Care Therapy we understand that the impacts of neurological impairments effect all aspects of your life. Our aim is to support  you with regain independence in whatever that means to you as an individual. We will work with any health professionals involved in your treatment to ensure everyone is working towards your self determined goals, with our Occupational Therapist advocating on your behalf, you will never have to feel your on your own.
